Budapest Semesters in Mathematics
I studied abroad with Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) in the fall of 2016, my sophomore year of college. BSM was awesome for a number of reasons, but the two big ones for me were having a huge variety of interesting and unique math classes to choose from and being surrounded by people that were as passionate about math as I was. I especially enjoyed living in a co-op on a floor with a bunch of my classmates and young Hungarian mathematicians, who are featured in the photo album I made while abroad.
While with BSM I took Introduction to Topology, Quantum Information/Computation, and Theory of Computing, and audited Combinatorics. My favorite of these classes was Theory of Computing because I loved seeing how algorithms can be codified and understood.
