Measuring Chaos: Explorations in Dynamical Systems
June 2016 – July 2016
During the summer of 2016 I had my first undergraduate research experience at Agnes Scott College through the STEM Scholars program. Students in the program focused on a research project which was supplemented with workshops on professional development and ethics. I researched cyclic dynamical systems with Professor Rachel Rossetti (née Bayless) and rising senior Kayleigh McCrary, with questions based off of the paper Random Cyclic Dynamical Systems by Michal Adamaszek, Henry Adams, and Francis Motta.
To learn about this research please read our paper, Cyclic Dynamical Systems, published in the Proceedings of the Harriett J. Walton Symposium on Undergraduate Mathematics Research, Volume 15, pages 7-18.
I gave oral presentations on this research at:
The Harriet J. Walton Symposium on Undergraduate Mathematics Research, Atlanta, GA, April 2017
Agnes Scott College Spring Annual Research Conference, Atlanta, GA, April 2017T
