I have found teaching to be an incredibly rewarding experience, be it in private tutoring or working with Agnes Scott’s Resource Center for Math and Science. I’m also excited to begin a position this fall with the Minnesota Math Corps. Through the teaching positions I’ve held until now, I have realized that I love teaching and I hope that I can continue teaching through my life. Much of my interest in mathematics has come from supportive and encouraging teachers, especially the ones that have lifted me up when I was struggling, and being on the other side of that dynamic means a lot to me. I hope that I can continue to teach in a positive way, demonstrating my own excitement for mathematics while emphasizing the success of the students I work with.
